Professional Background – Over 25 years industry experience of working in design, specialising in retail, leisure and food & drink across UK and global markets.   With a diverse knowledge of industry trends and insights within the market, I bring a powerful dynamic to the business.

Prior to founding the ‘award winning’ Box of Frogs 10 years ago, I was head of store design for Starbucks Coffee UK and a designer for Dixons group.

Here at Box of Frogs I lead numerous projects across all areas, from concept design, design development, brand standards, graphics and full implementation.

Providing a holistic approach to the delivery of successful solutions and building close working relationships with our clients is key to the success of Box of Frogs.

A Passion or hobby – I enjoy outdoor pursuits including marathons and mountain trekking.

Hero – I have a bit of a soft spot for Simon Cowell.

Julia Beaumont Flynn

Professional Background – I have over 25 years in retail design, working for both design consultancies and in-house for Arcadia where I headed up the Concept design team, producing new schemes across all the group brands.

I have experience of all aspects of the design process from fixture design, new concepts and development through to large store roll outs.

For Box Of Frogs I am involved in a varied range of projects, providing creative solutions and mentoring younger team members.

A Passion or hobby – When I’m not running around after my two kids…I enjoy running the odd half marathon!

Professional Background – I have previously gained technical and design experience at a London architectural practice working on high-end residential projects from initial concept, planning, and detailed construction drawings.

My initial experience in retail construction has been contractor based, providing coordinated technical design and contracts management for a number of large retailers.

These experiences have brought me to the role of Project Manager with the Frogs and allows me to contribute to the broad insight we bring to our projects.

Professional Background – After graduating from University I started working at Box Of Frogs and have been here for over three years now.

I worked a few summers gaining experience in London at different Architect & interior design companies before I graduated.

I primarily work on Fat Face projects, new and old, but also like to dabble among the other clients.

I work closely with Fat Face by producing the drawing packs as well as design development, brand standards and being involved with the store handover.

Professional Background – I have worked for Box of Frogs for around 3 years and also did work experience here when I was at school at Burnham Grammar.

My personal professional achievement is the Odds Farm Tea rooms and Christmas Grotto projects which we worked on in 2015.

I generally work on whatever new projects come in, making sample boards, creating new concepts and working on the presentations. I also help out with the other projects within the business whenever I am needed.

A Passion or hobby – I love to travel and wear glitter whenever I can at parties and festivals 🙂

Schemes I’ve worked on include department stores, restaurants, supermarkets, banks, sports retail and fashion stores.

At Box of Frogs I primarily work Costa Drive Thru’s ensuring consistency of look and feel as well as operational efficiency.

I have 8 years’ experience at a manufacturing company, 5 years planning schools for major UK and overseas clients. 3 years as Design Lead for the Lloyds Banking Group account.

Passion – I like to keep fit by training for physical challenge events such as, ‘Tough Mudder’ and ‘Spartan’.

Professional Background – Over 7 years industry experience of working in management & design roles. Most of my experience centres around commercial & retail design and more recently, I have focussed on fixture design & procurement.

Prior to joining Box of Frogs, I worked for the clothing company FatFace for several years where I held a variety of management roles before heading up the fixture procurement for the business and coordinating new store openings.

Here at Box of Frogs I’m one of the main store designers for FatFace. Recently I’ve been working on fixture design and I’m enjoying expanding my design repertoire with different projects that come my way!

Passion – I love skiing.

Professional Background – I have previously worked for World Duty Free Group as part of their store design and technical team. My role was to look after promotional fixtures in the terminals, which turned over on regular basis, from the concept stage to getting the final stand installed into the airport on changeover night.

A professional achievement of mine would have to be in my previous job when I managed to get to grips with managing the different sections of promotions and being able to organise myself to deal with it all.

Passion – A hobby of mine is baking. I love to bake lots of different cakes and cookies.

Hero – My hero would have to be my mum. I admire how hard she works and how much she has continued to motivate me to get to where I am in my career today.
